About the event

The American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) Annual Meetings have a long-standing tradition dating back to their inauguration in 1947 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. These meetings are signature events for ASGCA members, including interactions, innovation, and education between fellow architects and invited industry leaders. Previous locations for the meeting have spanned across various cities in the United States, with 2022's meeting held in Providence, Rhode Island.

The meetings are a valuable opportunity to meet both new and established golf course architects, industry leaders, and award recipients such as the 2023 recipient of the ASGCA Donald Ross Award Frank Jemsek, owner of Jemsek Golf. Additionally, two new members, Joel Hornickel and Garrett Wasson, have recently joined ASGCA.

ASGCA meetings represent a professional environment that promotes innovation and collaboration, crucial attributes for their members as the industry adapts to new realities in golf and course architecture.

About ASCGA

The American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) is a professional organization comprising golf course architects in America, and was founded in 1946. The ASGCA focuses on the design of new golf courses and the renovation of existing courses in the United States and Canada. ASGCA architects play a significant role in shaping the golfing landscape and ensuring the quality and sustainability of golf courses. The ASGCA promotes the highest standards in golf course architecture, emphasizing environmental considerations, playability, and aesthetic appeal. The society publishes resources, conducts research, and collaborates with golf industry stakeholders to advance the field of golf course architecture and contribute to the overall development and improvement of golf courses.
